Dream boldly. Create freely. Learn with the Dream Quartet.
The Dream String Quartet brings music to life through highly interactive school assemblies designed especially for young learners ages 3 through 8. Blending classical repertoire with original songs, singing, movement, and a touch of theatrical storytelling, we turn every performance into a playful musical adventure and journey.
We have partnered with the NYC Department of Education to bring our programs directly into schools across New York City. Each assembly invites students to clap rhythms, sing along, act out emotions, and even get up and dance to the music.

Students learn about the cello and more...
The Dream Quartet performs for the students!
The Dream Quartet goes back in time!
As cross-genre musicians, songwriters, and performers, we combine violin, viola, cello, voice, and improvisation to create engaging stories that spark imagination and joy in our young audiences.
In addition to early childhood programming, we also offer masterclasses for students from middle and high school string programs to university-level studio classes. These sessions can focus on classical interpretation, improvisation, folk music, crossover styles, songwriting, and stage presence. We approach every educational setting with the same goal: to empower young people to express their souls with authenticity, passion, and curiosity.
The New York City-based Dream Quartet, featuring Malachi Brown, Dwayne Beach, Elizabeth Hendy, and Maggy Simon, offers individual studio lessons for students interested in developing their musical voice with one-on-one guidance from professional performers and composers.
Whether you’re a classical musician wanting to break out of the box, a songwriter refining your voice, or a performer eager to bring movement and soul into your art, studying with the Dream Quartet offers you a one-of-a-kind opportunity to learn from four artists who live and breathe collaboration, invention, and musical freedom.
