The New York City-based Dream Quartet is made up of founding members Malachi Brown, Dwayne Beach, Elizabeth Hendy, and Maggy Simon. The multi-genre quartet was built on the desire to invent, curiosity to experiment, and passion to collaborate. True to their name, they are dreamers at heart, dedicated to sharing their music and art with the world. The quartet often incorporates singing and movement into its performances, bringing a dynamic and multidimensional energy to the stage. The members thrive on improvisation and composing in various genres, including folk, R&B, pop, disco, and contemporary music. Notable venues include National Sawdust, The Morgan Library, Brooklyn Public Libraries, and House of Yes. The Dream Quartet has collaborated with artists from diverse genres, including Yasmin Williams, The Breaks Inc., La Lulu, Princess Lockeroo, and the Brooklyn Chamber Orchestra.
